Rather than slothing all day, it was a mad rush to get up and out before the late breakfast finished at 11am. Just made it. Back to the room to get ready properly, then it was out to the pool deck for the belly flop competition! No we weren't in it, although both our bellies are definite contenders! And the winner was...the massive beer gutted bloke from England! Huge gut, huge flop! Good work.
It was a hot day and perfect for just lounging around and swimming in the pool. We love the way they play movies or video clips on the big screen whilst everyone is out there. We were a bit late out, so we didn't get the best choice of the deck chairs, but at least we weren't forced to sit in the blistering heat all day.
Stop two: Bingo! We still had our card from the day before and ended up being so, so close for a win. Never mind, not today but we had a laugh at the host Migiel and his hilarious commentary. It was funny booing people when they only had one number to collect. We didn't realise that bingo was actually an enjoyable thing to do. Don't worry, unlike Donna Geritz, we're keeping this to a holiday only activity! Love ya maDonna!
We got ourselves prettied up for 'formal night' and headed out earlier than our dinner reservation, so that we could play round 2 of the progressive trivia competition. Wwwwwwinners!! Won that round. Team RaT strikes back! Ok, ok, we'll let you in on a little secret....because we have been to a few of their trivias, they stupidly repeated about 7 questions from other days! These weren't asked at the previous progressive trivia, but over the other three we attended. These sessions only go for about 25 minutes, so it's only ever short...but we looked soooo smart!!! Hahahaha..love it!
Our dinner tonight was soooo sensational. Lobster bisque and escargot were our entree choices, followed up with the fillet of beef....OMG delicious! We of course followed up with dessert of chocolate souffle and a berry cheesecake. Sorry Keith, the eating could be going better for both of us!
After dinner we were feeling lucky and headed to the Casino Royale...no luck! Our system of random chance was not going according to plan. We did see some people we know, so at least they won! Off to the Viking Lounge to round out a great day, but it wasn't a late one as we needed to get up early for our trip to Athens.
Although we weren't at the Viking Lounge for long, we weren't disappointed! Dancing Nan was in fine form. We managed to snag a stealthy paparazzi shot of her cutting it up. Whoop, whoop! She seems to love the new tunes most of all. We forgot to mention earlier, that she was also busting a move on the pool deck (on her own of course) to the two piece reggae band. She is such a crowd pleaser! Go Dancing Nan!
