A day inside!

A bit of a sleep in this morning after a late night, then down to a yummo breaky with some of the others from the tour group.

We headed back to our room for a bit to organise some stuff then it was back to the usual of enjoying a nice walk in towards the main busy areas of Barcelona.

We headed down towards the National Gallery area again initially and ended up going up to the top of The Arenas circular lookout. This area is basically a mall that looks the shape of a stadium. A couple of days ago we thought it was the FC Barcelona stadium! As we said earlier...two idiots abroad!

Earlier on in the walk, we actually found the beloved stadium and also the ones used for basketball and athletics. There was a basketball match in progress as it was a Sunday and the noise emanating outside was unbelievable!

Richard was feeling a bit light headed at the top of the Arena, so we decided to sit down and rest and have a drink. We had a mojito which was great, but probably added to the dehydration. Water was also on the menu, but it was too late at that point.

Tan: We headed back to hotel after three hours and it was a good thing. Richard was like death. There may have been an incident at the train station...enough said! Anyway, he slept and slept and slept and I did some more trip research for Italy. All cool! Unfortunately Rich is still pretty dicey. Not cool!
